The Brandon Rolen Foundation was founded in 2004 for the purpose of raising funds to help children with SMA1 and to help provide them with a better quality of life by providing needed items that are not covered by the insurance. The Brandon Rolen Foundation is here for the children.

SMA-1 is the number one killer of children under the age of one. It is a genetic disease that attacks the voluntary nervous system, leaving the infant paralyzed from the nose down. Ninety-five percent of all children born with SMA-1 never see their first birthday. Of the five percent that make it to their first birthday, 99.9 percent never reach the age of two.
